Ballet is about discipline, but here at NBSI, it’s also about the laughs, the late-night rehearsals, and the community we’ve built in Mumbai.

## About The NBSI Family: More Than a Studio

Running a ballet school isn't always about perfect pirouettes. It involves managing the reality of student schedules, costume mishaps, and the occasional 'how do I get chocolate off a tutu' crisis. We believe that acknowledging these messy moments makes our technique training stronger because it builds a community that shows up for each other, regardless of the chaos.

At the National Ballet School of India, we treat every session as a balance between serious art and real life. We follow rigorous Vaganova and Royal training methods, but we know that true growth happens when you feel comfortable enough to make mistakes.

Whether you are joining our classical ballet classes in Mumbai for a child, or signing up for our adult ballet and barre fitness sessions, you are stepping into a space that values resilience. When our debut show was cancelled due to global events, we didn't stop; we pivoted. That experience taught us that ballet is about more than just technique. It is about the power in unity and how a supportive environment helps dancers perform at their best.

We focus on holistic development. This means our training includes conditioning, flexibility, and strength work alongside the artistry of dance. Our instructors, including visiting experts from Italy and the UK, ensure that every student receives individual attention, whether in a group class or 1-on-1 intensive coaching. Our dancers have gone on to land international scholarships and professional performance roles, but they all start right here in our studios across Mumbai, from Juhu and Powai to Chembur and Thane. If you are looking for a dance studio in Mumbai that respects the craft of ballet while keeping the joy of movement alive, you have found it.

## About NBSI Ballet School

I’m Dhvani. I started this school to create a space where dancers could be themselves. Whether you're a child taking your first step or an adult looking to find your rhythm, you’ll find a home here where technique is serious, but the vibe is all heart.
