Putting on a show at the Royal Opera House involves months of rehearsals, costume fittings, and stamina building, which we treat as a core part of our training curriculum. If you are looking to join a dance community that values the stage as much as the barre, let's talk. ### From Rehearsal to the Royal Opera House We believe that performance is where training truly clicks. While our daily classes focus on the technical side of ballet—the Vaganova alignment, the turnout, and the conditioning—our productions are where those lessons meet the spotlight. When we stage a production like Snow White, it is not just about the final bow; it is about the entire journey. ### The Reality of Our Productions - **It starts in the studio:** Before we step into the Royal Opera House, we put in hours of sweat equity. We focus on stamina-building and technical accuracy so that when the curtain rises, the dancers are comfortable and confident. - **Inclusive storytelling:** Our shows are designed for everyone. Whether you are a professional-track student performing a solo variation or a younger dancer stepping out as one of our woodland creatures, every role is integral to the story. - **Building a community:** The chemistry you see on stage between our 'King and Queen' or the woodland creatures is built during the messy, chaotic rehearsals. We teach our students to trust their partners and support each other, creating bonds that last long after the show ends. ### Why Performance Matters Learning classical ballet in Mumbai often feels isolated, but our stage work changes that. It gives our students a tangible goal and a chance to test their mettle under pressure. Our dancers have gone on to use this performance experience to secure international ballet scholarships and commercial gigs. If you want to move beyond the mirror and into the spotlight, you have found your tribe. ## About NBSI Ballet School I am Dhvani. I built NBSI to make ballet a performance-driven experience, not just a classroom chore. Whether it is your first time stepping onto the stage at the Royal Opera House or your hundredth rehearsal, I am right there with you, making sure we get the lines right and the energy high.
