We break the mold here. Our fusion workshops are where our students drop the strictness and actually sweat, often while dancing to Bollywood beats or hanging from aerial silks. It is the same focus on core strength and posture, but we trade the silence for upbeat energy and experimental movement. At the National Ballet School of India, we believe dance should evolve. While our foundation is rooted in Vaganova and Royal methods, these fusion workshops are designed to help you break out of your comfort zone. ### Why Fusion Matters We blend classical ballet with diverse styles like Bollywood, Flamenco, and aerial silks not just for the fun of it, but to build versatility. When you incorporate flamenco arm movements or Bollywood rhythms, you are learning to control your body in new, challenging ways. It forces you to adapt your posture and core engagement to different tempos and styles. ### What to Expect * **Bollywood x Ballet:** We bridge the gap between grand pliés and vibrant Bollywood beats. It is a fantastic way to build stamina while keeping the rhythm and flow that makes Indian dance so energetic. * **Aerial Silks:** This is where we take ballet into the air. It is incredible for upper body strength and core stability, giving you a new perspective on how to hold your lines. * **Flamenco Fusion:** We bring the intensity of Flamenco to the barre. This focuses on sharp, expressive footwork and the passionate storytelling that is often the secret ingredient in professional ballet variations. These classes are open to anyone, whether you are a trained dancer looking for a fresh challenge or an adult learner who wants to get fit without doing the same old gym routine. Come for the workout, stay for the #BalletFam community. ## About NBSI Ballet School I am Dhvani. I started this school because I wanted ballet to be a living, breathing thing, not just a museum piece. Whether you are hanging from silks or bringing flamenco flare to the barre, we are just here to push boundaries and find new ways to move together.
