You aren't just learning scales; you are learning to hear rhythm and melody, supported by my personal handwritten notes and an HD recording of the session so you can revisit the core concepts whenever you need to. ### Why start here? Many beginners think music is about memorizing finger positions. We disagree. Whether you join us online or at our Bangalore centers, we focus on the mechanics of music—how to hear a beat, how to recognize an interval, and how to read notation. ### What we cover in our sessions * **Fundamentals of Rhythm:** We break down pulse and timing so you stop guessing and start playing in time. * **Ear Training:** You learn to identify melodies by ear, a skill that changes how you listen to every song you love. * **Staff Notation:** We demystify the sheet music that looks like a foreign language to most new players. * **Interactive Learning:** Our sessions are live and interactive. You get a chance to ask questions and receive feedback, rather than just watching a pre-recorded tutorial. ### The Nathaniel School Approach We have been teaching music for 17 years and have seen thousands of students walk through our doors. We know that the first few weeks are critical. That is why we provide digitized handwritten notes, homework assignments, and HD recordings for every session. We want to ensure you have the resources to practice effectively between classes. If you are a total beginner or simply looking to fill the gaps in your knowledge, these workshops provide a structured, low-pressure environment to get your hands dirty and begin your musical path. ## About Nathaniel School of Music I am Jason Zac. At Nathaniel School of Music, we believe music is a language you can learn to speak, not just read. My team and I focus on ear training and understanding melody so you are not just memorizing finger positions, but truly feeling the music.
