Instead, we show you how to manipulate bass notes on open chords to create movement, or how to combine palm muting with scale theory to write a proper metal riff. It is about knowing why a sound works so you can replicate it in your own songwriting. ### Beyond the Tablature Most guitar instruction focuses on teaching you patterns. We teach you how to think like a composer. Our guitar program is designed to move students from simply memorizing shapes to understanding the relationship between the notes on the fretboard. ### What We Cover * **Harmonic Exploration:** We dive into how chord inversions and bass note variations can completely transform a simple progression. You will learn to add character to basic chords like A minor or C major, giving your playing more depth and melodic movement. * **Composition & Riffs:** Whether you are into metal or folk, we break down the mechanics. You will learn how to use palm muting, scale theory, and interval relationships to write your own riffs from scratch, rather than just copying someone else's. * **Theory in Practice:** You will learn to apply music theory directly to the guitar. This includes ear training and understanding scales, which allows you to improvise and arrange music with confidence. ### Our Learning Philosophy We believe in creating complete musicians. If you are learning at our Bangalore centers in Langford Town or Sahakar Nagar, you get access to our jam rooms to test these arrangements with live musicians. If you are learning online, you receive the same detailed, personal feedback. Every lesson includes handwritten notes and recorded sessions, so you can review the technical nuances of your practice at your own pace. If you are serious about your instrument, we have a path for you. ## About Nathaniel School of Music I am Jason Zac, and I founded this school to teach students how to really feel the music, not just reproduce it.
