My goal is to build genuine comfort, not just complete a technical drill. ### Why Play is the Best Teacher Many parents assume swimming lessons for infants are just about structured drills, but I have found that play is the fastest route to learning. When a child is busy laughing at a game of hide-and-seek or splashing with a toy, they forget to be anxious. This is when they naturally start kicking, paddling, and controlling their breath. ### The Science Behind the Songs I often incorporate rhymes like 'Row, Row, Row Your Boat' into our sessions. This serves a practical purpose beyond just having fun. The rhythmic repetition helps children predict movements, which lowers their anxiety. When we manipulate their limbs during a song, we are building muscle memory. By the time they are ready for independent strokes, their bodies already know what to do. ### A Gentle Introduction to Water My lessons are entirely baby-paced. Whether your child is 4 months old or a toddler, we follow their lead. * **Sensory Exploration:** We use floating toys to teach basic physics, helping them understand buoyancy and gravity. * **No Pressure:** If a child needs a break, we take one. We want the pool to be a place of joy, not a source of stress. * **Parent Involvement:** You do not need to be a strong swimmer. In these parent-child classes, your role is to be a supportive anchor. I will guide you on how to hold, support, and cheer for your little one. I travel to your home or building pool anywhere in Mumbai, bringing my own sensory toy kit and teaching aids.
