The professional wooden laminate flooring provides the necessary shock absorption for intense footwork, while the full-length mirrors allow for real-time posture correction during both Bharatanatyam and Flamenco practice. When learning dance, the environment changes how you move. In my Defence Colony studio, I wanted to combine the discipline of a traditional school with the comfort of a private practice space. Whether you are beginning with the basic Adavus of Bharatanatyam or exploring the complex, percussive rhythms of Flamenco, the setup is key. With small groups limited to 4-8 students, every learner gets the personal attention needed to refine their Mudras or correct their Zapateado footwork. The studio is air-conditioned and equipped with a high-quality sound system to help you fully engage with the music. It is not just about the steps; it is about providing a space where you can focus entirely on your craft without the noise and distraction of larger, crowded institutes. ## About Nandita Kalaan I am Nandita, a dancer and designer who believes in the power of movement. My world swings between the rhythm of Bharatanatyam and the fire of Flamenco, and I love sharing this joy with students at my studio.
