I focus on helping you interpret the lyrics and move in a way that feels natural to your body, which is especially helpful when you need to manage heavy outfits like lehengas during a Sangeet or wedding performance. Bollywood is about the story you tell with your movement. Whether you are preparing for a Sangeet, an anniversary, or just want a fun solo routine, my approach is to strip away the pressure. We do not just memorize steps, we connect with the music. ### How We Work Together For my wedding and event choreography, I offer a remote video package that fits your timeline. You get a custom routine for your chosen song, including: * **Full-speed performance videos:** To show the flow and energy of the piece. * **Slowed-down tutorials:** Count-by-count breakdowns to make learning easier. * **Mirrored footage:** So you can follow along as if we are standing in front of a mirror together. * **Adjustment for attire:** If you are dancing in a heavy lehenga or traditional wear, I modify the choreography so you can move comfortably and confidently. ### My Philosophy I believe in abhinaya, or the art of expression. Even in the most high-energy Bollywood tracks, there is room for soul. We will work on your posture and facial expressions so the dance feels like it belongs to you. If you are in Boston or New York, we can also discuss live workshops. Otherwise, my virtual sessions are designed to be a judgment-free zone where we can simply enjoy the process of learning.
