It’s the small, technical steps that make a set last, not just the quality of the gel itself. Many people ask me why their extensions fail to last or why they struggle with lifting. The answer is rarely about having 'bad luck' with nails; it is almost always a gap in technical training. Whether you are using traditional plastic tips or modern soft gel tips, the fundamental steps remain the same: proper nail anatomy analysis, thorough cuticle preparation, and precise product application. ### Why Technique Matters More Than Products I often see students focusing too much on the brand of the gel rather than the science of the application. If you don't remove the shine from the natural nail plate correctly, or if you apply your base coat too close to the cuticle, no amount of expensive product will save your set.
