## About Modern Effects: Chrome, Cat Eye & More

These modern finishes are all about the technique. For our Cat Eye looks, we use high-quality magnetic gels and handheld magnets to manipulate the particles, creating that 3D depth. If you choose Chrome or Aurora effects, we buff high-pigment powders into a specific no-wipe top coat. It is all about precision. Getting the angle of the magnet right or ensuring the powder is sealed perfectly is how we ensure the finish does not chip after a few days.

### Precision in Modern Effects

Modern nail art is often about textures and light reflection. While many salons offer these services, the difference lies in the base preparation. Whether we are applying metallic chrome or magnetic polish, the nail surface must be perfectly smooth.

**Magnetic Cat Eye & 9D Spar**
Cat eye nails remain a popular choice because they change with every movement of your hand. We use our 9D Spar Cat Eye gels and a handheld magnet to shift the metallic particles before curing. Whether you want a soft, subtle glow or a sharp, dramatic swirl, the angle of the magnet defines the final look. We cure these in short intervals to lock the magnetic pattern in place.

**Chrome and Mirror Finishes**
Chrome nails turn your hands into a statement piece. The process involves applying a no-wipe top coat, curing it, and then buffing in metallic powders. The quality of the powder and the smoothness of the base are non-negotiable. If there is even a tiny bump on the nail, the chrome will highlight it. That is why we spend extra time on prep, ensuring the surface is glass-like before the powder touches the nail.

**Jelly & Translucent Art**
For a lighter, playful look, our Jelly gels offer a translucent, glass-like finish. They are perfect for layering, especially over art like hand-painted florals, hearts, or decals, as they add depth without hiding the design underneath.
