Whether you are the mother of the bride or attending a close relative’s wedding, you deserve a look that reflects your elegance without feeling like you are wearing a mask. A common mistake I see is using the same thick, matte products on mature skin that are used for younger brides. That does not work. My approach to family makeup focuses on two things: hydration and longevity. I use specialized primers and satin-finish foundations that offer great coverage while keeping a dewy, youthful glow. If we are dealing with fine lines, I use targeted techniques to blur texture rather than covering it with heavy powder.
