These sessions move beyond theory to show students how to turn a blank page into a sharp, funny, and expressive illustration. ## Photos and videos - [Video: A look inside my caricature workshop at D.Y. I use my own Story-Cature method to teach students how to observe faces, simplify features, and inject personality into their sketches. It is not just about drawing lines, it is about learning how to see the world with a bit of humor and sharing that energy with an audience. I firmly believe that art is a skill best learned through practice and observation. My college workshops are designed to be active and engaging, moving away from standard classroom lectures. During my sessions, such as the one I conducted at D.Y. Patil International University, I break down the fundamental caricature drawing techniques that turn simple sketches into expressive portraits. ### What I Cover in Workshops My core approach combines storytelling with drawing, which I call Story-Cature. This method helps students overcome the hesitation of drawing on a blank sheet. We start by analyzing facial shapes, then move to exaggeration techniques, and finally, bring it all together with quick sketching exercises. I provide all necessary materials, including drawing sheets, pencils, and sketch pens, so the only thing students need to bring is their enthusiasm. ### Why Book a Live Demo If a full workshop is not the right fit, I also offer live art demonstrations. These are perfect for cultural fests or large gatherings where you want to highlight the process of illustration. I sketch live in front of the audience, explaining my process as I go. It serves as both entertainment and an educational showcase of how a caricature artist approaches their craft. I am based in Mumbai and Pune, but I regularly travel across India to host these sessions. If you are looking to add a unique, creative experience to your college event, feel free to get in touch. ## About Rajesh Naik I'm Rajesh Naik.
