For 15+ years, our little corner in Bangalore has been about giving every kind of creative soul a spot to shine. People don't just visit, they feel right at home - whether they're on stage or in the crowd. ### What Happens Here - Every week has its rhythm: - Tuesdays, the mic is open for poets and spoken word artists. Sometimes, you’ll catch a mix of poetry, music, maybe even a bit of Kathak if someone’s feeling bold. - Wednesdays, we go all in on laughs with LOL @ Urban Solace - which, by the way, kicked off the whole comedy stage Bangalore scene. - Fridays, it’s pure music. Unplugged. Just voices, guitars, and that raw vibe you only get at an acoustic music venue Bangalore knows and loves. - Alternate Thursdays, SoulStage is a mad mix - musicians, poets, beatboxers, whatever. All you need is ten minutes and the guts to grab the mic. ### The Feel - Small, close, and cozy - like watching a show in a friend’s living room. - Full setup: good sound, pro mics, warm lighting. Nothing fancy, just what you need. - We’re a cafe and wine bar, so grab some food or a drink while you watch or perform. ### For Performers & Audiences - If you’re searching for an open mic night Bangalore style, or just want a crowd that actually listens, this is the spot. - All are welcome - first-timers, regulars, queer artists, everyone. No judgement, just support. ### Why It Matters Urban Solace is about stories and songs, laughter and connection. If that’s your thing, you’ll fit right in. ## Highlights Browse through Urban Solace's best work. ### [Featured](https://mytribe.in/myurbansolace/live-entertainment-performance-hosting/featured) - [Video: This is what we are all about: not just a café, but a living room with music. We built this spot in Bangalore for artists, poets, comedians, thinkers, bookworms—basically, anyone who needs a place to be real. Our Tuesdays with the Bard poetry thing, it’s legendary, but honestly? The best bits are the nervous poets, the crazy laughter, the quiet book chats. This place has a soul ‘cause of you all. Welcome home, yaara. ### My work - **Weekly poetry, comedy, music & book events**: We host weekly poetry event Bangalore, open mic comedy Bangalore, live music, book lovers club Bangalore, and more. - **Tuesdays with the Bard**: India’s record-breaking weekly poetry event. Poets, applause, tears, and first-time voices—everyone’s welcome. - **LOL @ Urban Solace**: First comedy stage in Bangalore. Wednesdays explode with laughter, from fresh faces to big names. - **SoulStage & Unplugged Music Nights**: 10 minutes, your mic, your magic. Open mic for music, beatboxing, and unplugged music nights Bangalore. - **Food, Coffee & Chill**: Spectacular lake view, English breakfast cafe Bangalore, coffee, and easy conversations. Come hang, eat, talk. ## More services from Urban Solace - [Cafe Dining & Event Space](https://mytribe.in/myurbansolace/cafe-dining-event-space) · ₹350-700 per person (dining) / per hour (event space) (estimate) - [Literary Gatherings & Book Club Events](https://mytribe.in/myurbansolace/literary-gatherings-book-club-events) · ₹250-600 per person per event (estimate) ## Experts similar to Urban Solace on mytribe - [Live Performances and Cultural Shows by Atta Galatta](https://mytribe.in/attagalatta/live-performances-and-cultural-shows) · ₹6-25K per event (estimate) · Atta Galatta - [Performance Venue & Rehearsal Space by Rainbow Bridge](https://mytribe.in/rainbow-bridge-school-of-music/performance-venue-rehearsal-space) · ₹700-1,500 per hour (rehearsal); per event (performance/gig) (estimate) · Rainbow Bridge - [Community Events & Workshops by Dialogues](https://mytribe.in/dialogues.cafe/community-events-workshops) · ₹500-1,500 per person per event (estimate) · Dialogues Cafe Koramangala - [Live Performances by Jagriti Theatre](https://mytribe.in/jagrititheatre/live-performances) · ₹250-1,200 per ticket per show (estimate) · Jagriti Theatre - [Event Hosting & Venue Rental by Klayworkz Barista](https://mytribe.in/klayworkzbarista/event-hosting-venue-rental) · ₹8-25K per event (4-5 hours) (estimate) · Klayworkz Barista-KlayBar Art Cafe - [Live Band for Events by Urban Raga](https://mytribe.in/urban-raga/live-band-for-events) · ₹25K-1.5L per event (up to 3 hours) (estimate) · Bengaluru - [Community & Niche Event Hosting by Courtyard Koota](https://mytribe.in/courtyard_koota/community-niche-event-hosting) · ₹4-12K per event (half-day) (estimate) · Courtyard Koota - [Live Entertainment & Events by The Fat Chef](https://mytribe.in/thefatchef_blr/live-entertainment-events) · ₹15-60K per event (estimate) · The Fat Chef - [Open Mic Events by My School Of Rock](https://mytribe.in/myschoolofrock/open-mic-events) · ₹300-1,000 per performer slot (estimate) · My School Of Rock Bengaluru - Guitar, Drums, Ukulele, Music Classes & Lessons - [Event Venue & Entertainment by Draggers Cafe](https://mytribe.in/draggerscafe/event-venue-entertainment) · ₹8-40K per event (estimate) · Draggers cafe ## Book To book Urban Solace, message mytribe on WhatsApp: [Chat on WhatsApp](https://wa.me/916360004054?text=Hi%2C%20I'm%20looking%20for%20Live%20Entertainment%20%26%20Performance%20Hosting%20by%20Urban%20Solace.)
