We have kept this poetry tradition going for over 15 years, maintaining a dedicated listening-room vibe where the microphone is open to anyone with a story to tell. It is a space where silence is respected, raw emotion is shared, and you will find that the coffee pairs perfectly with the spoken word. Our space in Ulsoor was built to be more than just a cafe—it is a hub for the community. Beyond our record-breaking poetry nights, we host the Book Lovers' Club every second Sunday. These are informal, free gatherings where friends swap thoughts on literature, often joined by published authors in a setting that feels like a living room conversation rather than a formal seminar. We also bring laughter to the table with our comedy nights, featuring fresh faces alongside seasoned comics, keeping the city's stand-up culture grounded in its roots. For those who want to express themselves, our creative writing workshops and art exhibitions provide a gentle, guided space to explore new ideas. Whether you are coming to 'Pay with a Poem' on World Poetry Day, or simply looking for a quiet corner to write, we invite you to be part of the rhythm that makes this city special. We don't just host events; we provide a stage for the stories that make Bangalore the unique city it is. ## About Urban Solace We started Urban Solace 15 years ago to give art and words a home. We are not just a cafe, but a place where everyone is welcome to share their verse, their laughter, or simply their company.
