This is a space where you can simply show up, grab a coffee, and be yourself. The tables are arranged for conversation, so if you are coming alone, expect to leave with a few new stories or perhaps a new friend. Urban Solace has spent 15 years cultivating a space that feels less like a commercial cafe and more like a community hub. We are best known for 'Tuesdays with the Bard,' our record-breaking poetry night, and our midweek comedy sessions, but the cafe is also a dedicated home for book lovers, acoustic musicians, and local artists. ### Why the vibe feels different We don't do 'polished' here. You will find string lights, walls covered in local art, and a view of Ulsoor Lake that sets the mood for everything from book club discussions to spontaneous creative workshops. Our menu is built around comfort—think legendary English breakfast platters on weekends, and our signature brownie mousse that locals keep coming back for. ### Planning your visit If you are looking for an event, check our schedule before you arrive. Our performance space is intimate, which means you are always close to the action. Whether you are a poet looking for a mic, a fan of stand-up, or just someone who wants a quiet corner to read with a good cup of coffee, you will find your place here. We host events throughout the week, turning our little corner of Bangalore into a vibrant tapestry of voices and rhythms. ## About Urban Solace I built Urban Solace to be a 'Cafe for the Soul,' a place where words find a stage and people actually connect. Whether you are here for the poetry, the comedy, or just a hearty breakfast by the lake, I hope you feel at home the moment you walk in.
