Whether you are sending a care package to your child in the US or packing for a business trip to China, our customers consistently tell us that the taste stays exactly the same. We do not use preservatives or MSG, so you get the genuine flavour of home-cooked meals after just five minutes of rehydration, giving you comfort thousands of miles away from your kitchen. ### More Than Just Food When you are thousands of miles away, the last thing you want to worry about is whether you will find something you can actually eat. Our customers range from parents in Mumbai shipping 'ma ke haath ka khana' to students in the US, to business travellers who need strict Jain meals in countries where they don't speak the language. ### Why Our Process Works We don't mass-produce. We freeze-dry your specific meals, which locks in the nutrition and texture without artificial additives. This is why when you add boiling water to our packets, it doesn't taste like a processed snack—it tastes like the dal or sabzi you had the day before you left. ### Common Questions from Our Travellers * **Does it really taste like home?** Yes, because it *is* your home food. We just remove the water content to make it lightweight and shelf-stable for 9 months. If you bring us your food, that is exactly what we return to you. * **Is it suitable for strict Jain diets?** Absolutely. We handle Jain, vegan, and non-spicy baby food regularly. We know how important purity is, and we maintain strict segregation in our process. * **How much should I bring?** For freeze-drying, we require a minimum of 2 kg per dish. We recommend booking your slot 10-12 days before your travel date because the process takes time to get right. * **Can I ship other items?** Yes. Many of our customers combine their food order with our international shipping service for clothes, masalas, and utensils to save on baggage headaches. Our doors at Byculla are always open if you want to see the process yourself or taste the difference. ## About My Taste My Meal I started My Taste My Meal because I know the anxiety of travelling without pure, home-cooked food, especially if you have a specific diet like Jain.
