We run a strict barefoot policy in the performance area because we believe music feels more grounded when you are comfortable. It is not just about the stage time; it is about the people you meet here. Whether you are a first-timer or a regular, you will find a seat, some chai, and a community that is genuinely listening to every note and word. What makes our Sunday open mics in Bangalore different? We realized early on that the best performances happen when the pressure is off. We ditched the traditional club feel to build a space that works like a living room jam. We have hosted over 150 nights, and the culture has stayed consistent: total support, no egos, and definitely no hecklers. ### Why the Community Matters We do not just host performances; we foster a space where people make actual friends. You will see regulars chatting, performers sharing gear, and new people being welcomed into the fold immediately. The audience is the secret sauce—they are the ones who cheer for the first-timer with the same enthusiasm as the experienced band. ### Our Philosophy Rock The Stage is not about being perfect; it is about being present. From our candlelit acoustic sessions to high-energy band nights, we ensure every artist, regardless of skill level, gets the same respect and attention. ### Join the Audience If you just want to soak in the local creative scene, come by for a Sunday evening. It is the perfect place to discover Bangalore’s hidden talent—singers, poets, storytellers, and comedians—before they hit the big stages. Grab a seat, meet fellow creatives, and be part of the vibe that keeps us running week after week. ## About My School Of Rock We are not here to act like a fancy institution. We built this space so you can just walk in, kick off your shoes, and play. Whether you want to perform or just hang out with the local creative crowd, you are always part of the crew here.
