In our Koramangala studio, you will be holding a guitar within the first ten minutes, running through 'spider walks' to build dexterity, and by the end of your 90-minute session, you will actually play a full song. Everything is provided, so you do not need to buy equipment before knowing if you will stick with it. ### Your First Step to Playing Guitar Most people get discouraged by guitar lessons because they get stuck in months of theory before playing a single note. Our beginner workshops in Koramangala flip that script. Whether you have never held a guitar before or tried learning online and got lost in the noise, our group sessions are built for quick, tangible results. ### What to Expect in the Studio When you walk in, you can leave your shoes at the door and pick up one of our house guitars. We keep our groups small so you get actual attention. We start with the 'Spider Walk'—a simple finger dexterity exercise that wakes up your hands—then move straight into fretboard basics and the essential open chords like C, G, D, and Em. We provide printed chord sheets and a relaxed, semi-circle seating arrangement that makes it easy to follow along. You are not just learning scales; you are learning how to strum and transition between chords so that by the time you leave the 90-minute session, you have a complete song under your belt. ### Why Our Workshops Work - **No Gear Needed:** We provide the acoustic guitars and the space. Just show up. - **Real Results:** You will play a song by the end of the session, guaranteed. - **Supportive Jamming:** We focus on group music-making, not just playing alone. - **Bangalore Community:** Join a group of like-minded people in Koramangala who are all in the same boat as you. If you have been putting off that music dream for years, this is the low-pressure environment you need to finally get started. ## About My School Of Rock I started My School of Rock because I believe the world is full of undiscovered musicians who are just scared to start. We are not a traditional music academy with stuffy rules. We are a space to kick off your shoes, grab a guitar, and actually play music from day one.
