These aren't defects; they are the natural fingerprints of our handmade process, making your tray or vase truly one of a kind. If you are looking for mass-produced perfection, our pieces might not be for you, but if you love items with heart and character, you are in the right place. ### Why We Choose Jesmonite We work with Jesmonite and architectural concrete because they are kind to the planet and beautiful to touch. These materials allow us to create a 'soft minimalism' aesthetic—pieces that blend into your home rather than dominating it. Whether it is a tray for your entryway keys or a vase for dried flowers, the texture is stone-like, matte, and intentional. ### Styling Your Space Our trays and bowls are designed to be functional art. A bubble tray on your dresser isn't just a surface; it's a home for your everyday jewelry, keeping your rings and necklaces organized. Our ribbed vases, often paired with aroma stones, are favorites for washrooms or bedside tables where you want to create a small, serene retreat. We love seeing how our community styles these pieces—mix and match our oval cloud trays with mini heart dishes to create a cohesive, peaceful corner. ### A Note on Care While our pieces are sealed for water resistance, they are not dishwasher safe. To keep them looking their best, we recommend a simple wipe-down with a damp cloth if they get dusty or marked. Avoid harsh chemicals, as these can wear down the sealant. Because each piece is handmade in our Bangalore studio, every swirl pattern, marble effect, or speckled finish is unique. You will never receive an item that looks exactly like someone else's, which is exactly how we believe it should be. ### Customization We love collaborating with you. If you have a specific color palette in mind for a tray or a gift, just let us know. Since we mix our own colors, we can often match shades to fit your home's aesthetic or a specific gifting theme. ## About Myrtle Decor We are the two sisters behind Myrtle Decor, and we create pieces to make your home feel like a quiet exhale.
