We focus on the process—using theatre games and immersive storytelling to help children aged 5 to 8 develop empathy, focus, and the confidence to speak up. Whether your child is naturally outgoing or a bit reserved, they will find a comfortable place here to explore their imagination through movement and pretend play, guided by experienced instructors who prioritize fun over perfection. ### Why Drama Lab works for children At Myna, we believe that every child has a story to tell. Our 'Drama Lab' and 'Stage Stars' programs are designed to turn that potential into presence. We move away from the traditional school approach of rigid instruction and instead use 'play' as the primary teaching tool. ### What your child gains * **Confidence and Expression:** Through role-play, kids learn to project their voice and occupy space without fear. It is the first step toward overcoming stage fright. * **Social and Emotional Skills:** Working in a group setting teaches children turn-taking, active listening, and how to empathize with the characters they portray. * **Physical Coordination:** Our movement-based theatre games help children develop better body awareness and motor skills, often without them even realizing they are learning. ### Our approach in Khar West Our studio in Khar West is built for this. With impact-absorbing flooring and sound-proofed spaces like the Darbari and Malhar studios, we create a safe environment for your child to run, jump, and act freely. We keep our batch sizes small—roughly 8 to 12 kids—to ensure that our gurus can provide the individual attention needed to help quieter children come out of their shell and allow the more energetic ones to channel their creativity effectively. We don't just teach drama; we facilitate adventures. From stories like 'The Adventures of Kanchil' to musical storytelling sessions, we aim to make the arts a natural part of your child's week. ## About Myna We started Myna because we believe every child has a unique rhythm and a story waiting to be told. We are not interested in creating child actors; we are here to nurture happy, confident human beings who feel comfortable in their own skin.
