Whether it is the lack of performance pressure in our group riyaaz or the way we break down intimidating classical concepts into simple, everyday conversations, the feedback is consistent: Myna feels like a second home. You do not need a formal background or a perfect voice to start here; you just need the curiosity to try. Building confidence is the most common theme we hear from our members, and that is exactly why we started Myna. Our students often arrive with 'imposter syndrome,' worried that they aren't 'musical' or 'theatrical' enough to join a class. Our approach to learning—whether it is Hindustani vocal training, Western instrument lessons, or our Drama Lab—is rooted in removing that barrier. When you read our student testimonials, you will notice a trend. People don't just talk about the skills they picked up; they talk about the community. They talk about how our Open House Riyaaz sessions feel like a collective meditation, and how our kids' storytelling events bring families together. We keep our batch sizes small—3 to 5 students—specifically because we want our gurus to provide personal attention. This environment allows for the 'magic' our students often mention. Whether you are prepping for a Trinity exam in guitar, learning the basics of Raagas, or just looking for a weekend workshop to destress, you are stepping into a space that prioritizes your comfort over rigid grading. Our Khar West studio is designed for this exact purpose: relaxed, 'baithak' style seating for vocals and sound-treated rooms for instruments. If you are still on the fence about starting, know that many of our most dedicated students started exactly where you are—hesitant, curious, and looking for a creative outlet. You are welcome to join a trial session, meet the team, and see if our vibe aligns with your goals. ## About Myna We are a team of performers and educators who started Myna because we wanted art to be something you feel, not just something you study. We keep our batches small and our vibe light—because music and acting should be the best part of your day, not another source of stress.
