Whether it is our Lata Mangeshkar tribute or a Christmas carol workshop, the goal is collective riyaaz and shared joy. You just need to show up, grab a seat, and sing along. If you are worried about knowing the lyrics or being in tune, don't be—we have song sheets and instructors who keep things light and fun. At Myna Academy, we believe that music is meant to be shared. That is why our community events in Khar are designed to be low-pressure, high-fun spaces where everyone feels like they belong. ### What to Expect We strip away the performance anxiety. Our events, like the 'Ral Gaavan' Lohri celebrations or our musical soirées, are essentially guided sing-alongs. We provide the instruments, the lyrics, and the harmonium or piano support, and you provide the energy. It is about community connection, not individual perfection. ### Why Join Our Sing-Alongs? - **No Prior Training:** You do not need to be a trained vocalist to join a sing-along session. Bas music ka maza lo. - **Eclectic Repertoire:** We span everything from Punjabi folk beats and Sufi poetry to Western Christmas carols and Bollywood classics. - **Meet Like-Minded People:** Our studio in Khar West becomes a hub for locals to unwind, make friends, and bond over a shared love for melody. - **Expert Guidance:** Even in these casual settings, we have professionals like Amanda Ferreira or Milind Singh leading the group, ensuring the harmony sounds great while keeping the atmosphere relaxed. Whether you are looking to find your voice, revisit old favourite tracks, or simply spend an evening soaking in live music, our doors are open. Check our schedule for the next musical evening—we cannot wait to sing with you. ## About Myna At Myna, we think art shouldn't be intimidating. We started this place to build a home where singing, dancing, and just laughing together is the main event. Come by for a workshop or a sing-along, and you will see why we say music is part of our everyday life.
