If your child wants to pile up all the shakers or find a rhythm on the gathering drum, I encourage it completely. This isn't about following a strict musical score but about letting them discover their own natural beat, often while sitting right next to you on the floor. Music is the first language we all speak, and in our classes, instruments are the tools that help kids find their voice. When a toddler picks up a pair of rhythm sticks, they are not just making noise. They are learning about macro and micro beats, developing fine motor skills, and building confidence through focus. I curate our instrument collections to be age-appropriate and safe. We use high-quality Remo drums, shakers, bells, and xylophones that sound beautiful and are easy for small hands to hold. Whether we are at The Space Fitness in Juhu or Casa Vista in Worli, the setup remains the same: a cozy, circle-time environment where children have the freedom to experiment. Some parents worry if it is too loud or if their child will just grab everything. That is exactly what I hope for. This instrument jam time is vital for sensory development. It is when a shy child gains the confidence to tap a drum alongside a friend, or when a toddler discovers the joy of melody on a xylophone for the first time. We keep the batches small, usually 8 to 12 families, ensuring every child has space to explore without being overwhelmed. It is always a pleasure to watch these little musicians blossom as they jam together. ## About Little Miracles Hi, I’m Madhura.
