Our curriculum integrates ear training, music theory, and composition from day one, ensuring you actually understand the mechanics of the music you play. Whether you are practicing Hindustani classical or Western jazz, our instructors treat every session as a step toward professional-grade musicianship. ### Why our approach is different We believe music isn't a hobby, but a discipline. Many students come to us after hitting a plateau, frustrated that they can play songs but don't understand the structure behind them. We fix that by making music theory and solfege mandatory components, not afterthoughts. ### International Curriculum & Exams If your goal is formal recognition, we are built for it. We act as a hub for ABRSM, Trinity, and Rockschool exam preparation. We handle the exam registration, provide mock tests, and our senior faculty grades your progress against international syllabi. ### Our Environment We operate out of our conservatories in Nirvana Country and Uppal Southend, Gurugram. Our studios are acoustically treated to ensure you hear every pitch clearly. For those unable to visit, we have built an online program that mirrors our in-person rigour—you get the same 1-on-1 attention, the same theory focus, and the same feedback loops. Whether you are picking up the violin for the first time or preparing for advanced harmony, you will find a dedicated space here. Our doors are open to everyone—kids and adults alike—who is ready to take their music seriously. ## About The Metropolitan School of Music We are a team of international musicians and educators who believe music deserves serious study.
