We hold this event at The Finch to give our students a real-world stage experience, where they learn to handle the nerves, communicate with their bandmates, and finally hear the applause that comes after months of dedicated practice. For us, the practice room is where you build the skills, but the stage is where you find your musical identity. We treat our annual showcase, Rhapsody in Radiance, as an essential part of the curriculum rather than just an extra event. When a student signs up for lessons, they aren't just learning to play a song; they are preparing to share it. Whether you are a kid playing your first acoustic guitar chord or an adult rocking out on the drums, you get the chance to perform in a professional venue with live sound engineering. This teaches you things you cannot learn in a classroom: how to keep time when your heart is racing, how to listen to other instruments on stage, and how to project your voice over the roar of the crowd. Our instructors don't just teach you; they perform alongside you. This builds confidence, especially for those who have never stood in front of an audience. We have seen total beginners transform into confident performers by the time they step off the stage at The Finch. If you are looking to get past the theory and finally feel what it is like to be part of a live band, this is exactly what we are here for. ## About MusicPulse We are MusicPulse, a collective of teachers who believe that music is meant to be shared. We’re here to help you get past the practice room and find your voice, whether you're strumming your first chord or shredding a solo on stage.
