It keeps the space feeling airy and connected while still giving you that private, quiet corner you actually need to decompress after a long day. A bedroom is the one place in your home that should purely be about you. We move away from the standard layout of a bed pushed against a wall. Instead, we look at how to layer the room. ### Designing for Rest and Play We design rooms that function like a private gallery. You might see a junior master suite that doubles as a library, or a bedroom with a dedicated salon area for coffee and reading. By using elements like barrel-vaulted ceilings or glass blocks, we manipulate light and shadow to change the mood of the room throughout the day. ### Custom Furniture Matters Everything you see in our projects—from the 'Hide and Seek' space dividers to the bed frames and lighting—is part of our own design line. We build these pieces specifically for the dimensions and the narrative of your room. It means you aren't stuck with generic, store-bought furniture that doesn't fit the flow. ### Practical Comfort Luxury isn't just about expensive materials. It is about how a space feels when you use it. We focus on: - **Zoning:** Using furniture, screens, or architectural shifts to separate your sleep area from your dressing or lounge area. - **Tactile Details:** Mixing warm teak, cool stone, and soft fabrics to create a room that feels good to touch. - **Natural Light:** Integrating large windows and skylights to keep the room feeling fresh, not stuffy. Whether you need a calm, Japanese-inspired retreat or a playful space that feels like a playground, we listen to your story first. We design the room around the habits and objects that make you feel at home. ## About MuseLAB We are Huzefa and Jasem from MuseLAB. We don't believe in generic bedrooms; we want to hear the story you want your room to tell before we ever look at the layout. Every retreat we build is a mix of our own custom furniture and the unique ideas you bring to the table.
