Our clay courts are also maintained to a high standard, making them a preferred choice for players who want a surface that is gentle on the joints while still providing a professional match experience. ### Why Our Community Loves MAT When we host tournaments, our goal is to build more than just a scoreboard. We want to build an environment where players feel comfortable enough to express their game. From junior U-8 matches to senior veteran categories, we strive to maintain a high standard of officiating and court upkeep. ### What Coaches and Parents Say We are proud to be an AITA-registered academy, but what truly matters is the feedback from those who spend their weekends here. Coaches have often noted that we are one of the few venues in Bangalore that truly encourages the sport, providing a platform where what a kid practices in training can be executed in a real match setting. Parents frequently mention the welcoming atmosphere, where they feel like part of a family rather than just spectators. Whether it is the refreshments provided during match days or the friendly energy, our community spirit is what defines our events. ### The MAT Tournament Advantage * **Clay Court Surface:** Our six well-maintained clay courts are excellent for injury prevention and offer a consistent bounce for all levels of play. * **Inclusive Categories:** We run diverse draws, including Open, Corporate, and Senior groups, ensuring every player finds a competitive match. * **Event Experience:** From Independence Day Cups to the MAT Open Series, we add local flavour and community celebrations to make every tournament feel special. * **Supportive Amenities:** With floodlights for evening play, dormitory options for outstation participants, and hydration stations, we handle the logistics so players can focus on their game. ## About Murugan Academy of Tennis I am Murugan.
