## About Tennis Coaching

### Why I Started This Academy

Tennis isn’t just a sport for me - it’s my life. When I started Murugan Academy of Tennis in 2013, it was with a simple idea: help people grow, not just as players, but as individuals. The best part? We've become one big family here. Parents often say, "Namage Murugan academy andre thumbane ishta" (We love Murugan academy a lot) and honestly, that means more than any trophy.

### Coaching for All Ages

- Kids get started with games and basics, keeping it fun so they want to come back.
- Juniors move up with real drills, rallies, and tournament prep. We’ve got a solid record building champions through our junior tennis training programs.
- Adults, whether it’s your first racquet or you’re looking to get sharper, you’ll find sessions full of energy and focus on real improvement. Our adult beginner tennis lessons aren’t just drills - expect actual match play and footwork.
- For those chasing serious tournaments, our high performance tennis coaching (Elite Batch) is led by Coach Raju, an ITF World Masters Champ.
- Women’s tennis classes are run separately in a supportive, no-judgement space.

### What Makes Us Different

- We keep practice sessions intense but never boring - always about quality, not just hours.
- It’s not just about tennis. We teach discipline, resilience, and life skills that matter.
- Facilities include 5-6 clay courts (with floodlights), fitness training, and even transport for students nearby.
- Private coaching at your place? Yup, we do that for apartments and villas.

### Parents Matter Too

Your support is huge. Let’s keep the pressure off and the encouragement on, both on the court and off.

## Meet your expert

[Murugan Academy of Tennis](https://mytribe.in/murugan_academy_of_tennis)

### My story

Murugan here. Tennis runs in my blood, and this academy is my dream come true. Started with just mud, sweat, and a bhoomi puja. Now, five courts buzzing with kids and grown-ups, all part of my big tennis family. My brother Raju and I coach side by side, but honestly, every student feels like family. We play, celebrate, pick each other up after losses. It’s more than tennis - it’s about heart, grit, and growing together.

### My work

- **Tennis Coaching for All**: We coach beginners, advanced players, adults, and run ladies-only tennis batches.
- **Tournament Preparation & Summer Camps**: Get ready for AITA tournaments, join our tennis summer camps in Chennai, and level up your game.
- **Fitness & Training**: We offer tennis fitness sessions to boost strength and stamina for every player.
- **Premium Clay Courts**: Five well-kept clay courts, easy on your joints, with floodlights for night play.
- **Community & Family Vibes**: Tournaments, birthday celebrations, and even a self-kitchen for parents. Feels like home.
