I always recommend keeping your mehendi on for at least 6 to 8 hours and avoiding water for the first day. This small step helps the natural henna set properly, giving you that rich maroon colour that stays vibrant for days. ### Designing for Feet Foot mehendi is all about placement and flow. Because the area is smaller and often more mobile than your hands, I focus on patterns that complement the natural curve of the foot. Whether you want a minimalist design that mimics real jewelry like an anklet or a heavy, traditional vine pattern that travels up the ankle, the goal is to make it look like a seamless accessory. ### Popular Styles - **Anklet Patterns:** These are perfect for sangeet or smaller festive events. They frame the ankle beautifully and look great with traditional Indian footwear. - **Floral Vines:** A popular choice for engagement and wedding ceremonies.
