Because of the spray, we need a specific stage clearance to keep the audio gear safe while getting the full effect. This is a loud and visual setup that works best in venues where we have room to project those light patterns clearly. When you book the Liquid Drum performance, you are not getting a standard light show. This is part of the core 'Chembanda' philosophy—fusing electronic intensity with raw, organic elements. Each drum is custom-painted and lit from within. When the sticks hit the surface, the water splashes upward, catching the beams from our intelligent lighting truss to create a misty, atmospheric visual that reacts to the music's BPM. ### Why this hits different Standard confetti or smoke effects are fine, but this adds a percussive visual element. It is loud, messy, and designed for crowds that want to be part of the performance rather than just watching from the sidelines. We typically set this up as a centerpiece alongside my standard Pioneer Nexus console. ### Practical Setup Notes - **Space:** We need about 8x8 feet of dedicated stage space just for the drum kit to ensure the splash doesn't interfere with the main sound mixing desk. - **Lighting:** We bring our own trussing to maximize the drum lighting effect. If your venue has existing LED walls, we can sync our visuals to them for a unified look. - **Usage:** Perfect for college fests, temple festival inaugurations, or the high-energy portion of a wedding reception when you really want to shake the floor. If you have a venue that allows for a bit of a splash, this is the most effective way to turn a standard DJ set into a festival-grade show. ## About Akzy I am Mudiyan, and my DJ FAM and I don't do background music. We build stages, run the lights, and hit the beats that make the crowd go wild. If you want a show that feels like a festival, you are in the right place.
