Creating my own Ganesha idol every year is a ritual that fills my studio with peace. If you want to welcome a handmade, eco-friendly Bappa into your home, I would love to craft one for you or guide you through making your own.

## About Hand-Sculpted Ganesha Idols

Each idol I sculpt starts as a simple, raw lump of clay. I use coil and slab techniques to build the figure by hand, focusing on the details of the posture and expression to ensure each piece has its own unique character. Whether you choose a classic pose or something more expressive, the focus is always on creating a piece that feels right for your altar.

For me, sculpting Ganesha is more than just making a statue. It is a moment of calm and a way to connect with the festival. Every year, I work with natural clay to create idols that are completely eco-friendly. Unlike mass-produced statues, my pieces are hand-modeled, which means no two idols will ever be identical. When you choose a handmade idol, you are bringing a bit of that personal devotion into your living space.

If you prefer to make your own, I host Ganesha idol making workshops at my Whitefield studio. These sessions are perfect for families and individuals looking to slow down and get their hands dirty.
