We start every new player with an assessment during our trial sessions, ensuring they are placed in the right batch—whether grassroots or elite—where they will be challenged to improve their technique and game intelligence without feeling lost. ### Our Approach to Player Development At Mumbai Soccer Prodigies, we believe football is a tool for both sporting excellence and character building. We avoid spoon-feeding our players. Instead, we use a 'guided discovery' coaching style, asking questions and setting up game situations that force players to think for themselves. This builds instincts and technical sharpness early on, whether they are five years old just learning ball control or seventeen and preparing for professional league matches. ### Programs for Every Stage - **Grassroots Development (Ages 5+):** Focuses on fundamental ball mastery, coordination, and building a love for the game in a fun, safe environment. - **Intermediate Training:** Designed for players looking to transition from fun, recreational play to more structured skill building. - **Elite High-Performance Program (U12–U18):** This is for serious players. Admission is strictly via trials. The schedule includes 3 to 5 high-intensity sessions per week, covering advanced tactics, speed and agility training, and sports science support. Elite players gain exposure to professional scouting pathways and competition in tournaments like the YPL and MFA Super Division. ### Why Train With Us We don't just run drills. We provide an environment where your child can thrive. Our coaches hold AFC and AIFF licenses, and we maintain a strict 1:12 coach-to-player ratio so every child gets attention. We train on FIFA-certified artificial turf across our Mumbai locations in Bandra, Churchgate, Mahim, and Powai. Every player receives progress reports, and those in our elite track receive additional support from physiotherapists and nutritionists. ### How to Join We conduct regular trials throughout the year for our various age categories.
