In our sessions, we rotate partners regularly, which is the fastest way to get comfortable with the dance's core: connection. We focus on being grounded, learning how to lead or follow with intention rather than just memorizing steps, so you feel confident on the dance floor by the end of your very first class. Kizomba is a smooth, grounded dance style originating from Angola, and at Motley, we treat it as a conversation without words. It's not just about the steps; it's about musicality and how you relate to your partner. **What You'll Learn** We cover the fundamentals of Kizomba, the modern flow of Urban Kiz, and the playful energy of Semba. If you've been searching for Kizomba classes in Bangalore that actually teach you to feel the music, you're in the right place. Our curriculum breaks down weight transfer, lead-and-follow tension, and basic footwork, ensuring you build a solid foundation. **Our Approach** Our studios in Indiranagar, HSR Layout, and other locations across Bangalore offer a relaxed environment. We believe you don't need a dance background to start. Many of our students walk in as complete novices and leave as part of our social dance community. We focus on: - **Partner Connection:** Learning how to lead and follow gracefully. - **Musicality:** Understanding the beat so you move with the music, not against it. - **Social Etiquette:** Building confidence to ask for a dance and enjoy social nights. Whether you are joining our 6-week foundation course or a drop-in session, our instructors like Pratik ensure you get individual feedback. We even provide video recaps via WhatsApp so you can practice your moves at home. Come join our crew and find your rhythm. ## About Motley Dance Company I'm Pratik from Motley Dance Company. I'm obsessed with the way Kizomba music makes you move and I love helping people realize that 'two left feet' is just a starting point. We create a space where you can actually switch off from the workday and just groove.
