The trick is to secure every twist with a steel clip as you go, which holds the volume in place until you are ready to tuck. It is a small change that makes your work look clean, professional, and salon-ready. ### Master the Art of Braiding Braiding is the foundation of versatile hairstyling. Whether you are prepping for a bridal shoot or a sangeet party, knowing how to manipulate hair texture is key. At Monu Hair Academy, I don't just teach the patterns; I teach you how to handle the hair so the style stays put. ### What We Cover * **Mermaid & Fishtail Braids:** I show you how to use the spreading technique to create those dramatic, voluminous looks you see on Instagram. We focus on clean sectioning and consistent tension. * **Pull-Through Techniques:** This is my go-to for creating the illusion of thick, full hair. It looks complex, but with the right pulling angle, it is one of the quickest styles to execute. * **Russian Hairstyling & Textures:** We incorporate Russian techniques to create unique rose buds and intricate detailing that sets your work apart from standard salon styles. * **Creative Embellishments:** Learn how to weave golden threads, floral pins, and pearl chains into your work without making the hairstyle look messy or over-accessorized. ### My Hands-On Approach I believe you cannot learn styling by just watching videos. My workshops are small, with 5 to 10 students, so I can personally fix your hand movements and posture. We practice on high-quality mannequin heads, so you get to experiment with heat settings and tension until you feel confident. You will leave with a clear understanding of which products, like spray and mousse, hold these styles best for long events.
