## About Mentorship for Newborn & Maternity Photographers

### Why I Started This

I remember feeling a bit lost when I jumped into newborn and maternity photography. It's creative, but also pretty overwhelming - client calls, awkward shoots, feeling unsure about my work. That’s why I set up this mentorship. I wanted a space where we can talk about the real stuff, not just pretty pictures.

### What My Mentorship Feels Like

I think photography is so much more than settings or gear. It’s about timing, empathy, and building trust - all those tiny moments that make a photo feel alive. My approach? Mix of practical and soulful. We focus on craft, but also on how to actually run a business that doesn’t burn you out.

### How We Can Work Together

- In-person workshops at my Bangalore studio for real hands-on learning. We’ll go deep on things like newborn posing and safety mentorship, advanced maternity shoot lighting tips, and creating images that stand out.
- Online courses if you prefer learning at your own pace. You’ll get frameworks for marketing, client experience, and building your confidence.
- The Inner Circle, our yearly membership, is where you’ll find community support for maternity photographers, monthly live sessions, Q&As, and resources so you don’t get stuck alone.

### Who This Is For

If you’re just starting, want to refine your style, or need help making your biz sustainable, I’m here. No faking it - just honest advice and a real community.

## Meet your expert

[Mommy Shots Academy](https://mytribe.in/mommyshotsacademy)

### My story

Hey, Amrita here. Coffee in hand, camera in the other. I started Mommy Shots Academy during lockdown, just me chasing a dream and figuring out how to help creatives like you (and me) survive the hustle. Trust me, I know that mix of passion and self-doubt. I wanted a place that felt like family, not just another course. For me, it’s always been about real moments, real connections - not just fancy edits or chasing likes.

### My work

- **Photography Mentorship & Training**: I teach maternity, newborn, and child photographers through online and in-person sessions, including newborn photography bootcamp and masterclasses.
- **Hands-On Practice**: My bootcamps are all about hands-on posing techniques, real feedback, lighting, and wrapping tricks so you’re ready for any shoot.
- **Join a Creative Community**: You get more than a class - you join our creative photography community, a safe space for sharing, growing, and asking anything.
- **Build Your Photography Business**: I help you move beyond just a portfolio - learn pricing, branding, and how to create a client experience that lasts.
