## About Celebrating Milestones: Birthdays & Beyond

Most parents worry that their toddler won’t sit still for a portrait, but my milestone sessions are the exact opposite. Whether it is a messy first birthday cake smash or a quiet annual birthday ritual, I work around your child’s energy. I let them explore, laugh, or even nap in their own space, ensuring we capture the real, unposed version of them instead of a forced studio pose.

Birthdays go by in a blink. One day you are holding them in your arms, and the next, they are running around with cake on their face. My goal isn’t to capture a perfect, stiff image for your mantelpiece; it is to document the personality they have right now.

### Why I Focus on Home and Outdoor Sessions
I believe the best photos happen where your child feels safe. Whether it is your living room, the nursery, or a favorite park in Mumbai, these spaces are part of your story. My Standard Milestone & Birthday session (1.5 to 2 hours) is designed specifically for this. It gives us enough of a buffer for feeding breaks, quick outfit changes, or simply waiting for your toddler to settle into a mood where they are ready to be themselves.

### The 'Mess' is the Memory
Don’t stress about the decor or whether the cake smash goes exactly to plan. If there is crying, we capture the comfort. If there is laughter, we capture the joy. I focus on:

* **Candid Interactions:** I look for the way your baby reacts to new sensory experiences, like the texture of icing or the bubbles in a milk bath.
* **Authentic Rituals:** From traditional festive setups to modern first-birthday celebrations, I incorporate your own decor to keep the shoot personal.
* **Real Connections:** While the focus is on your child, I always make sure to capture the bond with you—the parents and grandparents who are walking this journey with them.

I offer everything from quick Express Portrait sessions for a snappy update to longer Milestone shoots that give us the time to really get comfortable. Let’s create a record of their growth that feels like home.
