These pre-wedding rituals are often more intimate than the main wedding day, providing the perfect canvas for storytelling. During the Haldi, I am constantly watching for that split second when the turmeric hits or when family members share a laugh. I prefer moving around the venue, using natural light and the bright yellow hues to create dynamic, energetic images. I do not ask you to look at the camera, I wait for the joy to happen naturally. Mehendi photography requires a different eye. Here, the focus shifts to detail, grace, and stillness. Whether it is a close-up of the intricate henna patterns on your hands or a portrait of you enjoying a quiet moment while the art is applied, I keep my approach gentle and unobtrusive. My goal is to capture the anticipation and the feeling of being with your closest people. I am based in Airoli, Navi Mumbai, and cover weddings across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area.
