It is about making sure that the final image does not just look good, but feels like an authentic introduction to your readers. An author portrait needs to balance authority with approachability. In my studio at Ambience Mall, we use a professional three-point lighting setup to ensure your facial features are well-defined and clear. We usually start by discussing where the images will live. Are they for a book jacket, a press release, or your speaking engagement profile? This determines the style, from a formal look for industry events to a relaxed vibe for social media. We can incorporate elements like your published books, your laptop, or even your writing space to create visual context. If you are preparing for a book launch, I also capture high-quality product images of the book itself, which helps with your marketing and online store listings. The process is designed to be low-stress. I guide you through poses that look natural rather than stiff, because the best results happen when you feel relaxed in front of the lens. You walk out with a range of images suitable for large-format print and digital use, ensuring your personal brand is consistent and polished. ## About Vishal Diwan I am Vishal, and I run my studio right here in Ambience Mall.
