They produce a unique acoustic snap that mimics the pressure of competition environments, helping you test your dog’s nerves without any physical contact. I hand-select the bamboo and wrap the handles myself because, as a decoy, I know that a loose grip during a session isn't just frustrating, it is a safety issue for the dog and the handler. When you are training for protection sports like PSA or IGP, the equipment you use defines the quality of your session. I started building my own gear because I couldn't find items in the market that could survive the intensity of my daily training. ### Why Handcrafted Gear Matters In sports training, mass-produced tools often fail when the pressure is on. My bite pillows are constructed from heavy-weave jute or synthetic materials with reinforced nylon handles, designed specifically for full-mouth grip training. Its purpose is environmental proofing. By creating a loud, sharp sound near the dog, you test their nerve and focus.
