We only use rock salt (sendha namak) for every single item, from the Rajgira Puris to our specific fasting sabjis. Because we make everything fresh from scratch to ensure quality, pre-booking is compulsory for all festival orders. ### Traditional Fasting Food Done Right Eating during fasting days like Shravan or Maha Shivaratri is not just about skipping grains. It is about following a strict diet that avoids regular salt and wheat. We understand the struggle of finding authentic 'Farali' food in Bangalore that actually tastes like home. We do not use shortcuts. Whether you need a full thali or specific sides, we prepare meals that respect your traditions. ### What You Get in Our Thali Our Farali menu is built to keep you full and satisfied throughout the day. You will get hot Rajgira Puris or Bhakri, fresh Sing Usal, and our signature Aloo Sukha Bhaji or Suran Kand Mix Veg. For that sweet finish, we include homemade Shrikhand or Sabudana Kheer. All items are made using pure sunflower oil or ghee and rock salt. Everything is served in convenient compartments so it stays fresh until it reaches your table. ### Why Pre-Booking Matters We are a small, family-run operation. We do not keep bulk stock. We cook only what is ordered so that you receive fresh food at your doorstep. If you are planning a fasting meal for your family or a small gathering, please book well in advance. We handle delivery within an 8km radius of Rajajinagar and can coordinate with third-party services for other locations. ## About Mody'z Daughters We are the Mody family, and we run Ice and Spice with all our heart. We started this because we missed our own Gujarati ghar ka khana here in Bangalore, so we cook these fasting meals exactly the way we make them at home for ourselves.
