From heritage-inspired rock installations to functional terrace gardens, we create spaces that breathe. ## Photos and videos - [Video: This video documents the entire process of creating our 'Tree of Rocks' sculpture, a unique water feature for a terrace landscape. When adding heavy stone art or water features to a terrace, we prioritize load-bearing analysis and waterproofing integrity first. We ensure your design vision is physically sustainable, so you get the visual impact without compromising the long-term health of your structure. ### Beyond the Surface: Our Approach to Landscape Art Great landscape design is not just about placing plants. It is about site analysis, understanding micro-climates, and recognizing the structural limits of the space. Whether we are planning a commercial plaza in Mumbai or a private terrace in Pune, our process remains grounded in technical rigour. ### The Technical Foundation Every project starts with a feasibility study. Before we sketch an artistic feature, we evaluate the site's structural capacity. For terrace landscapes, this includes: * **Load-Bearing Assessments:** We calculate the weight of stone installations, water features, and planters to ensure safety. * **Waterproofing and Drainage:** We detail layers for slope management to prevent leakage, a critical step often overlooked in garden design. * **Material Selection:** We curate natural stones, pebbles, and sustainable timber that age well in local weather conditions. ### From Sketch to Site We believe in a hands-on approach. Our team remains involved through the execution phase to ensure the final build matches the conceptual vision. This includes monitoring site supervision, guiding the placement of hardscape elements, and fine-tuning lighting and irrigation layouts. ### Why Context Matters Whether it is creating a pebble mural wall for a garden or designing a functional boating zone near a waterfront, we focus on the feeling of the space. We want your landscape to encourage interaction, movement, and calm. If you have an irregular plot or a tight urban space, we specialize in maximizing land use efficiency through thoughtful master planning and creative problem solving. Let us help you turn your outdoor area into a functional, aesthetic asset. ## About Mobius Architects We are Akhil and Megha Laddha, the team behind Mobius Architects. For us, designing a space is a journey from initial sketches on paper to the final, messy reality on site. Whether it is a grand city beautification project or a detailed terrace garden feature, we find harmony in the chaos of construction.
