For pieces like our crane mural, we dedicate over 150 hours to sketching, layering ceramic paste, and detailing, which means you need to factor this timeline into your project well before the final furniture installation begins. Why settle for off-the-shelf wallpaper when your walls can tell a story? In our practice, we treat every vertical surface as a canvas. When I collaborate with my mother, Hansa Sewani, we aren't just decorating; we are embedding personal history into the architecture of your home. We favor techniques like 3D ceramic paste application, gold leafing, and intricate acrylic layering because they create a tactile experience that flat prints simply cannot replicate. A mural shifts the light in a room and provides a focal point that changes as the day progresses. Our approach is highly custom. Whether it is a serene bedroom wall featuring graceful cranes or a living area accented with 3D nature-inspired textures, every design is a dialogue between the architecture and your personal taste. Before you commit, consider the depth and light in your room. A dark corner might benefit from gold leaf highlights to reflect evening light, while a bright, airy space can handle richer, deeper pigments. We work through the concept on paper first, ensuring the scale and the story align with the furniture layout, ensuring the art feels like it has always belonged to the space. ## About Meenakshi Jessani I am Meenakshi, and I lead the design team here. I don't believe in cookie-cutter layouts; I believe in building homes that feel like an extension of you.
