We surround ourselves with artifacts, like salvaged ship portholes and raw material samples, to remind us that design happens at the intersection of memory and function. This space is where we sketch, debate, and prototype the vernacular stories that eventually become your homes or workspaces. Architecture is rarely a linear path. We see our studio as a living experiment where we blend the old with the new, testing how materials like exposed brick, raw steel, and recycled elements can coexist. When we approach a new project, we start by listening to the history of the site and your own aspirations for the space. We organize our design journey into specific thematic categories—conservation, homes, institutions, and socially relevant work—to ensure that every solution is grounded in its unique context. By maintaining a library of material samples and documenting our experiments, we keep our process transparent. Whether we are transforming a heritage mansion or repurposing industrial scrap, our goal is to weave together elements that feel both rooted in the past and prepared for modern life. We do not just build structures; we aim to create breathable, sustainable environments where light and nature play a central role in your daily experience. ## About Mistry Architects We are a collective of architects and thinkers who believe building is a deeply personal act. From our late founder Sharukh’s playful 'Thugs of Mistry’s' legacy to our current studio energy, we keep the process human, and grounded in the earth.
