## About Individual Homes, Collective Spirit

Our residential architecture prioritizes thermal performance by integrating passive cooling techniques, such as mud plaster facades and terracotta-embedded roofs, to regulate indoor temperatures naturally. This approach ensures your villa remains a comfortable refuge regardless of the season, while maximizing the visual and physical connection to the outdoors.

At Mindspace, we view the villa not as an isolated object, but as a component of a larger ecological and social fabric. In projects like Svamitva Terravana, the design intent is to move beyond conventional layouts by creating porous spaces that breathe. We employ split-level volumes and expansive openings to invite nature inside, ensuring that light and ventilation reach the core of the house.

The material palette is chosen for its tactile quality and environmental performance. Lime plaster, mud finishes, and natural Kota stone flooring provide an earthy aesthetic that ages gracefully and creates a serene interior atmosphere. Beyond the individual residence, our master planning focuses on community interaction. We place amenities and green zones to encourage spontaneous encounters, ensuring that while your home remains a private sanctuary, it also contributes to a vibrant, cohesive neighborhood.

Our process involves detailed topographical analysis and climate modeling, allowing us to align the built form with the site's natural contours and prevailing wind patterns. We examine the 'why' behind every wall and window, ensuring that the final structure fits its context perfectly. We invite you to explore how these principles can shape your vision for a sustainable, enduring residence.

## About Mindspace

For over twenty years, we have approached residential architecture as a way to integrate buildings into their natural context. We are a collective of architects who believe that a home should reflect its environment, using sustainable materials to build spaces that feel timeless.
