At Mera Baghicha, we tell our customers to check the soil moisture before reaching for the watering can. Stick your finger an inch into the potting mix, and if it feels even slightly damp, wait another day. Your plants want consistent, low-fuss attention rather than constant doting. Gardening is often about what you don't do as much as what you do. We see many plants struggling because of too much fertilizer or constant moving, which disrupts their growth cycle. ### The Essentials of Plant Health - **Soil Aeration:** Plants breathe through their roots. If the soil is packed too tight, it chokes them. We always recommend 'gudai' or hoeing the topsoil every few weeks to keep it loose and oxygenated. - **Seasonal Adaptation:** Haldwani winters and summers are harsh. In the peak summer heat, don't rush to water everything at noon. Stick to early mornings or late evenings so the moisture doesn't evaporate before reaching the roots. Mulching with dry leaves or grass can also keep the soil cool. - **Light Matters:** Not every plant belongs on a windowsill. If your indoor plant has drooping leaves, it might be craving more light, but avoid harsh, direct afternoon sun which can scorch the foliage. ### When to Ask for Help We love helping you learn, but sometimes a garden needs a professional touch. Whether you are dealing with a persistent pest infestation like aphids or want to set up a lawn that actually survives the season, we are just a message away. We offer everything from organic pest control services to full garden restoration. If your plants are looking sad, don't give up on them yet. Let us take a look and get your green patch back on track. ## About Mera Baghicha At Mera Baghicha, we started with a simple wish to see our city turn green.
