Instead, I use active direction to guide you into natural moments of connection. Whether it's a shared laugh or a quiet whisper, my focus is on capturing the chemistry that is already there, not creating a staged version of it. You have likely spent months planning your wedding details, but the photos that stick with you are the ones where you look like yourself. When I work with couples, I look for the gaps in the schedule, the dim church corridors, or the quiet corners of the reception hall. That is where the magic happens. My approach to couple portraits is about movement, not instructions. I might ask you to share an inside joke, walk together, or simply look at each other while I capture the reaction. This method works just as well for a 5-minute window between ceremonies as it does for a full-day pre-wedding shoot. If you are comfortable, I am happy to add a little bit of that dramatic, cinematic flair to make the portraits feel like a frame from a movie. Whether we are shooting a pre-wedding session in a Mumbai garden or catching a candid look right after your vows, the goal is to make sure you enjoy the process. You do not need to be a model or have experience in front of a camera. You just need to show up as you are.
