I build a small world around it, usually framing the peacocks or elephants within traditional arches or palace domes. This approach keeps the design clean and ensures each figure stands out against the dense, intricate patterns on the rest of your hand. These traditional motifs are timeless for a reason. They carry a sense of heritage that modern, abstract patterns often miss. Whether you are a bride wanting a regal touch or a guest looking for something symbolic, elephants and peacocks are my go-to choices. ### Why These Motifs Work Creating these figures requires a steady hand, especially when mixing them with dense 'jaal' work or lotus vines. If you look closely at my work, you will see I often pair the elephant with a lotus flower, which is a classic symbol of purity. For the peacock, I focus on the plume, fanning it out to cover the palm or forearm, which adds movement to the design. ### Customizing Your Design If you have a preference, we can mix and match.
