The acoustics there are distinct from modern auditoriums, allowing the unamplified resonance of the choir to fill the space in a way that feels intimate and timeless. Our Grand Opera and Choral Nights are the culmination of years of dedicated training and international collaboration. We bring the full spectrum of Western classical vocal music to Mumbai, ranging from grand orchestral galas at the NCPA to immersive choral evenings in atmospheric heritage venues. What sets our performances apart is the integration of our ‘Singing Tree’ student choirs with professional orchestras and visiting international soloists. It is a vital part of our mission to give young musicians real stage experience. Whether it is a performance of Mahler or Puccini, or an evening of contemporary choral works, students often stand alongside renowned international conductors and ensembles. We believe these experiences are best enjoyed live, where you can hear the unamplified nuances of every voice. If you are new to this repertoire, our signature Opera Galas—often conducted by Maestro Zubin Mehta—provide a grand introduction to the art form. For a more intimate experience, our choral showcases at venues like the Afghan Church or St. Andrew's Auditorium offer a chance to hear the choir in a setting where the architecture enhances the music. We ensure all concert details, including seating categories at Tier-1 venues and general admission for heritage sites, are transparently communicated to our patrons. ## About Mehli Mehta Music Foundation We are the Mehli Mehta Music Foundation, dedicated to keeping the flame of Western classical music burning in Mumbai.
