Because I hand-mix my organic henna with essential oils, I can adjust the flow for precise, fine-line floral work or thicker, denser traditional patterns. This flexibility allows me to switch styles instantly, ensuring the final design matches the specific mood and vibe of your event. Mehendi is a versatile art form, and I love that it does not always have to look the same. While some clients prefer the classic Bharwa or dense Indian patterns, others love the open, airy look of modern Indo-Arabic designs. In this collection, you will see a mix of both. I often suggest Indo-Arabic styles for lighter celebrations, sangeet nights, or for guests who want something elegant yet quick. These designs use clever negative space to make the floral vines and mandalas really stand out. On the other hand, if you are looking for that timeless traditional appeal, my jaal work and lotus motifs are a great choice. These designs are richer and more detailed, which makes them ideal for festivals like Karwa Chauth or Teej. Creating these patterns requires a steady hand and a deep understanding of line weight to make sure the art looks balanced on the hand. Ultimately, the result depends on the henna quality. I use a natural, triple-sifted henna powder mixed with eucalyptus or lavender oil. This blend is not only safe for all skin types but is also critical for achieving that signature dark maroon stain. It usually takes about 48 hours for the color to fully mature and reach its deepest shade. Whether you want a simple mandala on your palm or elephants and geometric shapes along your forearm, I am happy to customize the density to suit your comfort.
