They were wrong. Today, I am not just creating bridal designs for weddings across Mumbai; I am teaching batches of students at my Bhendi Bazar studio, showing them exactly how to turn this art into a business that actually pays. They said mehendi would not lead anywhere, but the feedback I get from my students and clients proves otherwise. My journey was not about luck; it was about treating henna like a real profession from day one. When I started, I was juggling college exams and mehendi orders, sketching hibiscus patterns on my answer sheets because I could not get the designs out of my head. Today, my studio in Bhendi Bazar is a community where I teach aspiring artists the exact steps I took to get here. What you see here is the result of years spent figuring out how to balance art with business. In my professional courses, we do not just practice lines on paper. We cover the business side, like photography, pricing, and social media growth, because I know that being a great artist is only half the battle. If you are looking to learn, whether for fun or to build your own side hustle, I have designed my classes to be the supportive environment I wish I had when I started.
